Awe-inspiring introduction to the Victoria and Albert Museum. The Victoria and Albert Museum is a vast reservoir, a collection that spans centuries and subjects and styles and media. We knew we needed someone to help us without being utterly overwhelmed. After reading multiple reviews we booked Robert. This was an excellent decision. He was focused but edited our tour it so that we could understand how and why this was such a magnificent showcase of some of the world's masterpieces. He has a really interesting background and a thorough knowledge of his subject so our hours with him flew by. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have more time. We'll be back.

An Afternoon To Remember. Robert was amazing, this is very obviously his passion. He had so much to tell us, and was keen to tailor our private tour to our interests. His narrative told a story, linking sculptures and artwork to history, with stories of which artists/sculptors influenced/taught who. We talked about where original pieces of artwork were still kept and when hearing of our planned future trips he was keen to give us things to look out for. 3 hrs of the history of artworks that flew by so quickly, and it was a tour to suit all levels of interest.
